Today is Air Max day, the 27th Anniversary of the beloved Nikes with the visible Air unit. It all started with the Air max One, designed by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker. Nike released the OG red and white colorway for the first time in 1987. This sneaker set the pace for all he heat that came after it. The Air Max one was followed by he Air max light, released in 1989. The name already indicates the difference between this model and it's predecessor, the Max lost some weight. The weight wasn't the only difference tho, they also gave it a new look. Next up, we've got the radiant red aka the Air max 90, released in 1990, this shoe was pretty popular so I assume that you already know what it looks like. Now that everybody got used to visible air units on the side, Nike took it to a whole other level with the release of the Air max 180. But how? well, they literally started at the bottom, the air unit was visible on the side and bottom now. It look very impressive, but it didn't pack as much air as the next shoe, I'm talking bout the Air Max BW, released in 1991. The AM BWdelivered more visibility, more padding, and more Air than ever before. the five remaining models are the Air Max 93, 95, 97, 360 and the Flyknit Air Max. You can visit Nike's Air Max day page If you want to know more about the five remaining Air Max's that I mentioned.
